The Burunga Union Foundation UK organized a cash distribution event for individuals severely affected by recent floods. The event, held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM, took place at the Burunga Sky Community Center. It was chaired by Mr. Ataur Rahman Chowdhury, President of the Union Foundation, and included a discussion led by Secretary Kazi Khalilur Rahman and Assistant Secretary Mr. Mazharul Islam, with joint management by Kalam.

The meeting featured a recitation by Hafiz Nabeel Ahmad and was attended by several distinguished guests, including Mr. Azad Chowdhury, the founding president of the Burunga Union Foundation; Mr. Dwipankar Deb Shibu, acting chairman of Burunga Union Parishad; Mr. Nurul Haque Adam Ali; Mr. Soleman Ali, former secretary of Burunga Union Foundation UK; Vice Presidents Mr. Fazlu Mia and Mr. Rita Chakraborty; Treasurer Mr. Abdul Mukit; and Member Mr. Master Lebu Mia.

During the event, cash assistance of 2,000 Taka each was distributed to 180 flood-affected individuals. In his closing speech, the President congratulated the new committee of the UK branch and concluded the meeting by requesting prayers for the health of UK Office Secretary Mr. Juber Chowdhury.
